Here we go again

Sounds like a bad '80's song.

Last post abnormal vaginal pap smear.

Typical as per my oncologist and second view,

Now I've been told my persistent cough is possibly due to a 3x5x8 cm mass in my right fucking lung.

BFC family I am sorry for the lingo. I have a few bevvies on board after this afternoon disclosure

Jesus fucking Christ,

How many times at bat do I have to survive?

Beverages are talking, obviously you're upset- and you have a right to be upset. In a fair world, once you've had cancer and beat it, you should get a 'free pass' for the rest of your life, but that's not always the case. If you're looking for any light at the end of the tunnel, if there is no lymph node involvement, you might be able to get that mass to shrink and/or disappear- it could happen. And I'm glad you didn't say it was Covid giving you the cough. Talk to TWO oncologists on the multiple options. We're rooting for you to get a plan that works best for you Bobbi. Keep us posted on your onc visits and what treatments they offer you. Hold on Bobbi, there's gotta bee a doc up there with a good workable plan for you!

Bobbi, he said “...possibly due.....”, not “....IS due.....”, correct? Don’t anticipate the worse. Scares are common with us, but it seems you’ve had your share of cancer and cancer scares. Did they schedule biopsy?

Biopsy is next, likely get a call Monday/Tuesday and put a game plan together. Of course we need proper confirmation but my GP said to assume it is malignant judging by size, shape, growth and surface texture shown in the CT.

Thanks all, I'm clearer today and just regrouping.
